THE GLUTE BRIDGE

Weight Loss Spa Treatments

Another easy way to get fast weight-loss results is to get beauty treatments specifically designed to help you shed inches quickly. By visiting a spa, sauna, or wellness clinic offering weight loss beauty services and procedures, you can have your pick of numerous beauty treatments and spa services that are designed to help you lose weight quickly or to alter your appearance by reducing bloating, tightening your skin, or removing body fluids. These processes only involve temporary weight loss, but the results are immediate and do not involve dieting or exercise.

1- Ask about a mineral body wrap. Some mineral wraps claim to help you slim down by literally making you “lose” inches off of your waist, thighs, and arms. The process involves a mineral-based cleanse that is supposed to detoxify your body, helping you shed weight, reduce cellulite (fat near the surface of your skin), and tone and firm your skin almost instantly.

2- Get a lipase body wrap. Lipase body wraps are another quick-slim beauty treatment that follow a two-step phase.

  • First, an enzyme wrap is applied to rid your body of fat tissue near the surface of the skin.
  • A second mineral wrap is then applied, designed to tighten and smooth your skin.
3- Get a European body wrap. European body wraps are another potential option for spa services aimed at dropping inches off of trouble spots. This procedure is supposed to firm and tone skin, reduce the appearance of cellulite or stretch marks, and temporarily promotes weight loss

4- Get a hot body wrap. Heat-based body wraps are perhaps a more well-known spa treatment, designed both to detoxify your body and stimulate smooth, toned skin. The heat and massage involved in most heat or steam treatments is targeted at improving circulation and helping your body slim down quickly.

5- Go to a sauna. Saunas may result in a loss of a pint of sweat in just a quarter of an hour.

6- Get a colonic. Some spas offer colonic irrigation treatments, which involve physically flushing your colon with large amounts of water to remove fecal accumulation.
  • This process may help some people who suffer from bloating, gas, and constipation and claims to spur weight loss in some individuals.
7- Liposuction can shed pounds instantly. Liposuction is a surgical option for fast, targeted weight loss, generally only recommended for people with one or two specific areas of highly fatty tissue but otherwise relatively healthy body weight.
  • Because it is a surgical procedure, it carries significant health risks and should only be performed by a licensed professional.

Healthy Eating Habits

1- Develop a healthy and personalized meal plan.
2- Plan your meals in advance.
3- Determine your daily calorie needs.
4- Keep a food diary: Write down every meal, snack, and drink you consume as well as the approximate quantities for an entire week.
  • When possible, write down the number of calories in each food you eat as you eat it.
  • Keep in mind that the recommended serving size is often considerably smaller than the serving you actually eat.
  • Don’t forget to include coffee mix-ins, condiments, and other additions to your daily diet.
  • Once you have done this, you should be able to estimate your typical daily calorie intake and compare it to your goal with an online calorie calculator.
5- Identify your food triggers and plan accordingly.
6- Watch your portion sizes.
7- Don’t skip meals
8- Select smart substitutes for unhealthy sources of fat, sugar, and calories.
9- Snack smartly: Swap potato chips and candy bars for snacks that are nutrient-rich and low in calories and fat. Avoid processed and packaged foods when possible, or buy snacks that have single-serving packets of 100 to 200 calories. Healthy and easy snacks include nuts, rice cakes, fresh or dried fruits, baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, and so on. Vegetables are generally very low in calories, very high in fiber, and full of flavor and nutrition, but avoid fatty dressings or dips. Fruit provides a good source of soluble fiber, releasing energy more slowly and keeping you feeling full longer. Low-fat dairy products, such as yogurt or cheddar cheese, can also be healthy snacks in moderation. Try combining string cheese with a handful of grapes, spreading peanut butter on a few crackers, or dipping sliced red pepper into a few tablespoons of hummus
10- Sip on low-calorie 100% fruit juice, seltzer, or water instead of soft drinks, energy drinks, flavored coffees, and martinis.
11- Choose lean meats.
12- Replace high-calorie side dishes with healthier alternatives: For instance, exchange cheesy pasta or mashed potatoes with steamed vegetables or salad
13- Drinking water instead of soda, coffee, alcohol, juice, or milk may help you cut hundreds of calories per day.
14- Avoid tempting grocery aisles: Avoid the areas in the grocery store that stock sodas, cookies, ice cream, pizzas, and other fattening and highly processed foods, so that you are less likely to purchase unhealthy options.
15- Prepare your meals at home instead of buying fast food.

COUNTDOWN !

Length Of Your Working Out Depends On What You Eat

How long should I wait after eating a meal to work out?

That would depend on how much you eat.

If you have eaten a heavy meal, you should wait 30 minutes to two hours before exercising. The bigger the meal, the longer you will need to wait. If you just eat a light snack like half a bagel or a few low-fat crackers, you should be good to go almost immediately.

What you eat is also important. If you exercise first thing in the morning You might want to eat something like fruit or a small amount of juice and water. If you plan to exercise mid-morning then a breakfast high in carbohydrates will give you enough energy to get through your workout. If you exercise in the late morning before lunch, you may want to try eating a light snack before working out and have a carb-and-protein rich lunch afterwards to replenish your body stores. If you work out later in the afternoon 12:00-3:00 you shouldn't have to eat anything before your workout as long as you have eaten lunch and breakfast. However, if you exercise later in the afternoon, closer to dinner time, a light snack (like a yogurt or a handful of pretzels) is a good energy provider. If you exercise after dinner, just make sure to wait an appropriate amount of time related to the size of your meal.

WHY YOU HATE YOUR BODY ?

When you stand in front of a mirror, does your self talk essentially say: “Mirror, Mirror take a hike, I see nothing that I like?” Not exactly the fairy tale quote, but then you are not the evil stepmother. What you are is someone who has body issues. Although it doesn’t matter how long you have had these thoughts about your body, this is very likely one of the reasons you haven’t been able to maintain weight loss. I will explain why later.
If you have bad feelings about your body now, unless you change the way you think and feel about your body, no matter what you do, you will have those same thoughts and feelings about your new body. If you can’t think about your body with love, you are operating from a lack of love. When you try to change anything from a position of lack, it never works. You have to become the loving person you want to be right now, in the present moment, so that when you have reached your goals you will be ready to step into that improved body.

To change your thoughts and feelings about your body try this exercise:
1. Look at yourself in a full length mirror, preferably without your clothes.
2. Find a part of your body that you like. Perhaps it is your beautiful eyes, your blemish free skin or your thick, glossy hair. Look into the mirror and say, “I love my hair, eyes, etc.”
3. Now think about and write down 3 things you are grateful for about your body. Think of the positive things your body does for you: How you breathe without having to think about it, or that your heart is beating, or that you fight off infection. Remember how quickly your bruise healed? How about how quickly you recovered from your cold? Gratitude is very important. Do you put down your body, saying things about yourself that you would never allow anyone else to say about you? Did you know that when you do this, your subconscious will decide that you want more of the conditions that you are complaining about?
4. Post this list on the bathroom mirror, by your computer, or somewhere that you will see it often throughout the day. Read it every time you see the note. As you read each entry, say “thank you, thank you, thank you.
5. The next day, go back to the mirror and ask yourself: What else do I love about my body and what else am I grateful for? Now add this to the list from the previous day. Read each statement and repeat thank you, thank you, thank you.
6. Every day continue to look in the mirror, add to your list, and say thank you. Complete this exercise daily until you can see your body as whole and no longer just different parts. When you can look in the mirror, really see yourself and say and mean, “Hello beautiful,” you will know that you have completed this exercise. Celebrate.

HOW TO BE A FIT BRIDE

Let’s break it down into a Top 3:

1. Excessive drinking = detrimental. Yes, wine is good for you. Vodka is (relatively) low calorie. And maybe you, like me, used to be able to throw back a few and wake up feeling fresh as a daisy and ready to run. But when it comes to working out, drinking too much drags you down. It doesn’t matter if you don’t feel hungover the next day, those calories will stick to you like Nutella to a carrot stick (which might be one of the bizarre things you eat when you get drunk), and they’ll impede your progress. My new rule: alcohol’s kosher twice a week, in moderation. The rest of the time, it’ll be seltzer, thanks. Get all the facts on exercise and alcohol.
2. Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy. And by that I mean, wake up and conquer the world by working out. I never thought I’d be able to drag myself out of bed and into a gym. But once I got in the habit of early-morning Barry’s Bootcamp sessions—and that took about two weeks—I grew to love the sense of accomplishment that comes from starting the day by breaking a sweat. No matter what happens afterwards, I know I’ve done something good for my mind and body. Granted, AM workouts may not work for everyone, but know that “I’m not a morning person” isn’t an excuse to hit the snooze. Need a little help kick-starting your routine, give this morning workout a try!
3. Break the mold. For years, I would go to the gym, spend 30 minutes on the treadmill running at a comfortable enough pace to mouth the words to “California Love,” do 15 minutes of some resistance exercise with light weights, stretch out my quads, and call it day. Can you say boring? No wonder I despised working out and wasn’t seeing any results. Over the past nine months, I’ve done things I never thought I’d do—sprinted at 11.1 miles per hour, kicked a guy in the stomach (he was teaching Muay Thai), and run a 3.6 mile race in 28:30. Physically and mentally, I’m a better person for it. Plus, you know, trying new stuff is fun. Try it for yourself: Keep your body guessing with these new twist exercises.
There you have it: stop drinking, workout early, try new things. Ah, one more—sleep. I’ve learned that I need at least six and a half hours to be productive on the job and in the gym.
